Refuse Hauler:
Pick N Go Property Waste Services Phone : 315-221-9267 Garbage Pickup: Tuesdays Please place refuse to the curb by 7:00am as the haulers begin at this time and will not return once they have picked up. Homeowners should be placing their weekly trash in trash receptacles with a lid. Plastic bags are being ripped apart by birds and other animals causing garbage to blow around through our streets. Each week the refuse haulers will take five 20 gallon bags. Recycling can be placed in one container. The refuse hauler uses single stream recycling. Plastics and glass are sorted when unloaded at recycling center. Cardboard must be broken down, flattened, tied and separated from all other trash and recyclables. Recyclables cannot be mixed with garbage. Please remove lids from latex & oil based paints to completely dry out before placing in your garbage bags. If the above rules are not followed the trash will not be picked up. Allowing residents from outside of the Village of Brownville to drop off refuse at your property to be collected is a violation. The Village of Brownville DOES recycle.
To dispose of branches, leaves, electronics or brush, please stop by the Village Office to obtain a FREE permit to take this debris to the Town of Brownville Transfer Site.
Hours for the Transfer Site are: Saturday 8:00pm - 3:00am Wednesday 2:00pm - 7:00pm |
