Check out the library hours/contact at https://brownvillelibrary.org Photo taken and submitted by Patricia Dietrich, RENY, NCZ member and chair of “Love Your Public Library" The RENY, (Retired Educators of New York), NCZ (North Central Zone) is happy to announce the award of a $50 grant to the Brownville Glen Park Library as a result of a September drawing for “Love Your Public Library” project. Brownville Glen Park Library was a very historic treat with the library’s site being a shared site with the Village Clerk and the historic site of the General Jacob Brown Mansion. The Library Director, Donna Raines was very anxious to share all that goes on in this little space. This year’s Summer Reading Program included our very own member, Retired Educator, Anita Bero, who shared some fun experiences with Energy Theme. Very popular storyteller, Lynn Morgan is a popular presence at events every year, never fails to entertain.
Be sure to check out their schedule at https://brownvillelibrary.org and and the wealth of information Donna can tell you. Also, special kudos to Taylor that spends many hours of valuable volunteer time there and was on hand the day we visited.
